“We can’t always change our circumstances, but we can change how we perceive them.”
Samantha Desch
After spending 15 years as an educator, I discovered a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges on a deeper level and transitioned into the mental health field. I completed my clinical internship here at Provive Wellness and have since joined the organization as a clinician, bringing with me a strong foundation in communication, empathy, and supporting personal growth.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saint Joseph’s University in 2025. My experience in education taught me the importance of meeting people where they are, recognizing each individual’s unique strengths, challenges, and life experiences.
My treatment philosophy is centered on building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I utilize a variety of evidence-based strategies tailored to each person’s needs and goals. Whether someone is working toward sobriety, managing mental health concerns, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to helping them identify, develop, and strengthen the tools necessary to create meaningful and lasting change. I firmly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to better themselves and improve their quality of life. My role is to walk alongside clients as they discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and build the skills needed to achieve their goals.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my best pal, Rory, my six-year-old Golden Retriever mix. I’m also an enthusiastic foodie and member of a monthly dining club with friends, where we explore local restaurants and experience new cuisines together.

Brittnay believes the quote has such a deep meaning because for years, she struggled with being her authentic self. She wore a mask for so long, having no idea who she really was. It was only when she entered recovery and chose to begin healing, that she was able to fall in love with who she is & embrace everything about herself, her flaws and all. Brittnay’s goal is to work with individuals and help guide them to their path of healing. That they can one day say that they are deserving of love, have begun to love themselves & believe it.”

Olivia Richards
My career path has never been linear – it’s been a culmination of many pivots and forks in the road that lead me to recovery. I graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2015 with my degree in communications media and sociology. After completing my internship with a Philadelphia area wedding photographer, I began working at an independent luxury jewelry store in sales and digital marketing.
I spent the next seven years in this position before realizing that retail work was negatively impacting my mental health and sobriety. After making the difficult decision to quit, I poured my full time and attention into the self-care and internal work that I had been severely neglecting. This led me to my time in treatment at Provive.
In my experience, recovery begins with the desire to change and the hope that things can get better. Sustained recovery is achieved through daily routines, a strong sense of self, meaning and purpose, and a supportive community.
Before coming to Provive, I felt stuck in patterns of isolation, self-sabotage, and negative self-talk. I learned so much about working with my inner critic, reframing my unhelpful thought patterns, and managing my triggers and cravings. I’m now certified as a Recovery Specialist with the goal of giving back to my community and supporting others through their recovery journeys.
In my free time, I’m a total introverted homebody who loves any and all things true crime, gothic, and horror. I love taking long walks on the Perkiomen Trail and blasting Queen out of my car speakers. My favorite season is autumn, and I’ve never met a cozy sweater or scented candle that I don’t immediately love.
