Honoring Service and Fostering Healing: Provive Wellness’ Service & Unity Program for Military, Veterans & First Responders
May marks National Military Appreciation Month, a time dedicated to recognizing the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country in the United States Armed Forces. As we observe Armed Forces Day on May 17, 2025, Provive Wellness proudly honors our heroes with the launch of a specialized mental health track: the Service & Unity Program.
This new initiative is designed specifically for active-duty military members, veterans, first responders, and their families, offering a structured and compassionate approach to healing from the mental health impacts of service.
Why Specialized Mental Health Support Is Critical
Military and first responder communities often experience high rates of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs reports that up to 20% of veterans who served in operations like OIF and OEF experience PTSD in a given year. For first responders, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) highlights high rates of occupational stress and suicide risk.
These conditions often go untreated due to stigma, lack of specialized resources, or unawareness of effective care. That’s why we developed the Service & Unity Program—to address these gaps with trauma-informed, mission-driven, and peer-supported care.
What Is the Service & Unity Program?
The Service & Unity Track at Provive Wellness is a six-week intensive group curriculum designed to help participants reclaim their identity, restore their purpose, and reconnect with themselves and others.
Each week builds on the last, offering therapeutic insight, actionable tools, and guided activities in a supportive environment:
